Meet the author and owner
Mackenzie Hill

Her story

Mackenzie was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona. With help of her mother , her grandmother removed Mackenzie from an abusive household environment, her grandmother raised her in Litchfield Park, Arizona.

In 2017, Mackenzie went to college to earn a theater and creative writing degree before she had to drop out to take care of her grandmother full-time. Not long after that, Mackenzie found her biological father she had been looking for 6 years through Ancestry DNA, who unfortunately died of lung cancer during covid but always inspired Mackenzie to chase her dreams no matter what people tell her.

After a few years, Mackenzie ended a long-term relationship with her ex-fiance and moved to Sidney, Montana, where she rediscovered her love and passion for writing and reading. Thanks to the fantastic bookish community on tiktok, she found a supportive and creative group that inspires her daily.

You can find Mackenzie most days at home creating worlds for her readers to read, or she is in her study with a cup of tea traveling to various fantasy lands from Sarah j Maas , to Stephanie Garber, or even to the dark fantasy worlds of Emily McIntire. When she isn’t at home with her two fur babies, Syrena and Hazel, she is out with friends and family or at her local library.

Do not spoil what you have by desiring what you have not; remember that what you have now was once among the things you hoped for.
